This year, the most prestigious International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) organized the 29th World Congress at the congress center in Lisbon, Portugal.
Membership in ISHRS, attending congresses, lectures, and exchanging experiences in hair loss therapy and transplantation techniques are extremely important to us. The MBC team, led by Dr. Marija Balković, closely followed all the events this year.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the ISHRS COVID-19 Task Force has been diligently working on establishing safety protocols to protect both patients undergoing hair restoration procedures and physicians, as well as ensuring safe attendance at the annual meeting. This year, in addition to in-person participation, the congress was also accessible digitally, with the possibility of viewing all lectures and content online.
For those unable to attend the meeting in person, ISHRS offers an on-demand virtual format available in the weeks following the event, including popular new CSI presentations (Cases, Studies, and Innovations) and 24/7 access to recorded educational content from the in-person meeting from November 8, 2021, to February 8, 2022.
